#GlacierBayNationalPark #Alaska The surface of the bay was so smooth. The clouds opened up for the briefest of moments to let in the perfect amount of sunlight to create the reflection of the glacier in the water. It seemed so close, like we would bump into it if we drifted a little, but, in actuality, we were around 2 miles away from it! #Relecting_Perfection #2011

#64 of 365 There's something special about seeing the Red Jammers drive up and down the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park! These vehicles played a vital role early in the parks history by taking park visitors arriving by train to the parks many sights. Today these vehicles continue to play a vital role as the park is extremely popular and parking becomes much more limited. The best part about taking the Jammer is you no longer have to worry about driving and can look at the sights too!
