River Princess: Uniworld's European explorer
Some say river cruises are the new bus tours of Europe — only better. You get to visit many towns and cities while floating on a five-star hotel vessel. Cruisers unpack only once and get to sail down Europe's famous rivers and dock in the heart of its fabled cities.
Uniworld's River Princess has bold decor and a color palette that pops. The long, narrow ship often docks in the heart of small towns and historic cities so passengers can simply walk off the ship to explore. Prague, Vienna and perhaps even music by a Von Trapp Family singer will bring much of Germany and Eastern Europe alive. Sail past quaint villages and great cities on the glorious Danube, visiting baroque abbeys and medieval cathedrals, tasting fine wines, and encountering the mosaic of cultures in the region.
Who will enjoy sailing the River Princess
Uniworld customers tend to be older, experienced travelers, although the age demographic may be trending downward as river cruising grows in popularity. The typical passenger is 50 years of age or older. Many have cruised on large ocean-going cruise ships although Uniworld trips are also a great choice for the first-time visit to Europe.
